Product Name: Optimize Press 2

Creator: James Dyson and his OP2 Team

You can Create Sales Pages, Highly Converting Landing Pages like Sales and Marketing pages, Product Launch Funnels, Secure Membership Portals, Squeeze Pages, Thank you Pages, Webinar Pages, Upsell and Downsell Pages. You can also use the Optimize Press 2 Theme as your WordPress theme (though I don't use it that way).

You'll also get the Optimize Press 2 Member Plugin (which is a similar with the S2Member Plugin) where you can start creating your membership pages and provide access to specific content on your site for paying members.

Pricing: $97 - $297 One-Time payment (with 1 year free updates. There's a minimal fee for keeping up with the updates after your 1 year free subscription). Optional Monthly Club Membership with Free Templates. For a small amount, you'll be able to get high-quality designed templates that will help you save time and money.

Summary: Optimize Press 2 is a complete revamp of the Old Optimize Press plugin which revolutionized landing pages. It offers a solid option for creating high quality landing pages for a very minimal investment. But there's a lot of better options today, like Thrive Themes. How I Stumbled Across Optimize Press...

As an online business owner, you'll want to get more subscribers, get more leads and eventually get more sales to have a thriving online business...

But most websites are dead "ugly" including mine.

I liked what it looked like, but my visitors weren't...

How did I know?

By looking at the bounce rates on my website using Google Analytics.

I had bounce rates of up to 93%.

Which means 9 out of 10 people visiting my site leaves before they even read a few sentences.

One of the ways to address that (and to increase engagement and conversions) is to create beautiful and gorgeous landing pages.

This is where I've come across Optimize Press. It's a landing page tool used by a lot of veteran "internet marketers"....

But nothing comes close to the using Leadpages, when it comes to ease of use and time saved when creating landing pages...

How Can Optimize Press 2 Help My Online Business?

If you want to get more leads and sales for your online business, you need more traffic or...

Or increase your website's conversion rates...

The problem with most websites is that it's NOT optimized for conversions.

But fortunately, that can easily be resolved. I do this by creating specific landing pages for each specific goal.

Here's what I'm talking about...

  • Do you want to capture more email subscribers? - You need to build squeeze pages or optin pages
  • Do you need to do a webinar or a webinar replay? - You need Webinar Registration Pages
  • Do you need to sell your products and services? - You'll need to create sales page for that
  • Do you have content that you would only like to be available to paying members? - Then create membership pages

I used to have "ugly" landing pages and websites, you know, the old wyswig website design.

And that really killed the conversion rates on my site. How did I know?

By looking at the bounce rates (more than 93%), that's about 9 out 10 people leaving my website in less than 3 seconds. When I started using landing pages for different conversion points and purposes on my website, I've seen significant and higher conversion rates than ever before...

So, What are Conversions?

Why do CONVERSIONS matter so much for your online business?

I’m not talking about converting kilograms to pounds or Celsius to Fahrenheit. Nor is it about changing one’s religious belief to another…

Conversion is the single, most important metric to measure in your online business.

Click to Tweet
  • A conversion can simply be a visitor who became an email subscriber on your website
  • It could also be a website visitor who registered for your webinar.
  • Or a visitor to your  sales page that converted into a sale.

A conversion is a way for you to measure an "Action" that people have taken on your website.

Whether that action is to subscribe, buy, share, like, or even a leave a comment. Of course, the ultimate conversion is when you turn a lead into a customer when they buy or purchase your products or services.

Some people call these "real and tangible" conversions as "HARD conversions" while conversions like sharing an article, subscribing to an email list, or leaving a comment can be classified as "SOFT conversions".

You'll usually find more "SOFT conversions" on your website than "HARD Conversions".

But research shows (multi-channel attribution), that repeated USER engagements on your website through "SOFT conversions" will eventually help with the "HARD Conversions" on your website (which is the purchase of your products and services).

Aside from conversions, you'll also want to consider and track "Conversion Rates".

Conversion Rates are simply the percentage of people who converted per 100 visitors.

Optimize Press 2 Templates and the Marketplace

If you're going to get Optimize Press 2, make sure that you've upgraded to the Optimize Press 2 Club membership to get over 80+ high quality templates. It's a huge time saver for a small investment.

Templates and existing landing page designs will help you create beautiful landing pages quickly. And Optimize Press 2 has about 200+ beautiful designs you could choose from (available if you've chosen the Clubhouse membership package)

Optimize Press 2 Templates

There's probably more than 200+ templates inside Optimize Press 2

Here's the latest set of Templates inside the Clubhouse membership:

There's tons more beautiful designs and templates inside the Optimize Press 2 Clubhouse membership and the Optimize Press 2 Marketplace.

*** Take note, these designs can be made in other landing page builders out there like Thrive Themes, Leadpages, Clickfunnels, and Unbounce if you have these tools and if you have the time to re-create them.

Advantages of Using OP2

  • It's affordable - For only $97-297, ONE TIME Payment, you'll be able to get Optimize Press 2 for your websites.

  • A lot of people uses it - The support and community behind Optimize Press 2 is very strong. If you need to Hire an Optimize Press 2 expert, contact me.

  • Tons of Gorgeous Designs - With the Optimize Press 2 Club membership, you'll find tons of great designs. (Highly recommended that you get the Clubhouse membership because the MOST beautiful designs and templates are inside the Clubhouse access.)

  • Membership Plugin Included - If you want to create membership pages (paid content available for your subscribers), then you can use Optimize Press to build these pages, then the membership plugin to provide protection to this pages. It's a great membership plugin, but if you're using another membership plugin, that won't be a problem.

  • Great Support - As I've mentioned, James' Optimize Press 2 Team is awesome, and if you've ever stumbled with an issue, they'll be glad to help.

  • Tons of valuable Tutorials and Training included in your membership. If you want to get up to speed with your Optimize Press 2 installation, contact me.

Disadvantages of Using Optimize Press

  • It's only for WordPress - Since it's a WordPress Theme/Plugin, you'll need to use this landing page tool only with WordPress.

  • Limited designs without the Club Membership Package. (But I do have an Optimize press 2 Bonuses below)

  • No default SSL if you want Facebook integration. - If you want to your Optimize Press 2 landing pages on your Facebook custom tabs, you'll need an SSL certificate (purchased separately) for your website. This will turn your website into a secure website (https://) which is a pre-requisite for using Facebook custom tabs.

  • I've used Optimize Press for a very long time, and I've loved it. And I'm still using it for some of my sites, but there's no denying that a lot of NEW and BETTER landing page tools are out there. One thing that I've considered is Thrive Themes.

Optimize Press 2 Pricing and Features

Optimize Press 2 is obviously NOT the only landing page tool out there, so let me give you a quick comparison...

Optimize Press 2 VS Clickfunnels

We are really NOT comparing the same Lead Gen Platform with Optimize Press 2 and Clickfunnels. But the biggest differences between Clickfunnels and Optimize Press 2 is that Clickfunnels is a web-based tool, while Optimize Press 2 is a WordPress plugin/theme.

Of course, having a web-based software requires more resources and upkeep, Clickfunnels is more expensive ($97 per month), but for it's bells and whistles, I think it's totally worth it.

What I love with Clickfunnels is the integration between your entire sales funnels. You won't just create landing pages, but you'll "tie" them together into one "marketing funnel" and you can monitor the traffic and conversion rates in each landing page segment.

So Clickfunnels is a different beast than Optimize Press 2, and it's a powerful option if you need to create an entire "marketing funnel" easily. You can still create a "marketing funnel" in Optimize Press 2, but it would take a lot of time since you'll need to use third party tools to track metrics on each pages. Read my Clickfunnels Review for a detailed analysis.

Optimize Press 2 VS Unbounce

If you prefer Drag-and-Drop capabilities and TOTAL customization of your landing pages, then UNBOUNCE is the best way to go. But it's also NOT the quickest way to go. There's also limitations on traffic and a lot of the PRO features are only available on the $99/month level.

Unbounce is again a totally different landing page software because just like Clickfunnels, it's web-based and a full SAAS platform. But of course, this would be more expensive for a small business owner as monthly costs starts at $49/month.

Also remember that there's LIMITED traffic to your Unbounce pages. Both have a quick set of templates that you can use to create a landing page quickly.

Optimize Press 2 VS Leadpages

Optimize Press used to be the "Leader" in landing page tools and software.

I remember my first sales page and membership site entirely built with Optimize Press. But today, there's tons of new Options out there. And although I'd love Optimize Press 2 for years, it's not hard to ignore that there are more powerful options today.

One of those options is Leadpages. (Here's my complete review of Leadpages)

Although Optimize Press 2 has a lower price point ($97 for 3 sites with 1 year support), it's going to consume a lot of your time if you create your own templates with Optimize Press 2. That's why I'd recommend that you get the Optimize Press Club to get dozens of high-quality templates with your Optimize Press account.

If I want to create Membership sites and pages, I'll go with Optimize Press 2 or Thrive Themes (NEW and More Powerful). Click here to read my review of Thrive Themes instead.

But for if I need to QUICKLY test out a new landing page, use HTTPS (or SSL) for Facebook custom tabs, I'll go with Leadpages and not Optimize Press. It's just too time consuming to use, and for me, time is really much more important than a few dollars saved.

The beauty of Leadpages is that it's quick and easy to use. But that's also it's Achilles' heel, it's not best for creating custom landing pages because you'll be stuck with the templates that's in your library and the templates from the marketplace. You can still customize with Leadpages, but it's either you create them, someone creates them for you, or use the Custom Page importer which will "Clone" a landing page that you own.

Optimize Press 2 VS Thrive Themes

Thrive Themes is the NEWEST set of Landing page and Lead Generation Tools made by Shane Melaugh. Shane is the co-founder of several internet marketing tools like SE-Cockpit, Thrive Leads, Hybrid Connect and more.

So I know that when it comes to conversions, he's really one of the experts out there.

And I'm blown away by the simplicity, functionality, and features of the Thrive Themes Set of Plugins.

I love it so much, that I'm revamping this entire site: TRAFFICSALAD to use the Thrive Themes sets of tools.

But before you try this, take note that Thrive Themes would only work with WordPress, just like Optimize Press 2. So really, this is where I'm comparing apples to apples (sort of).

Which is also why I'm USING and NOW RECOMMENDING Thrive Themes over Optimize Press 2. I still have my Optimize Press 2 annual membership and I know a lot of people will still use it, especially if they've already built a lot of their website using Optimize Press Technology.

But if you're coming from an Optimize Press 1.0 website, you still need to entirely rebuild your website with Optimize Press 2, you might as well use Thrive Themes instead.

The reason I've chosen Thrive Themes over Optimize Press 2 is because it's faster and easier to use.

I'm currently editing this website on the Thrive Themes Content Builder in Real Time.

So whatever I add/remove is quickly reflected on my website.

I'm not editing in Rows/Columns, etc and hoping my landing pages would look like what I've imagined.

Another feature that I love about Thrive Themes is that when you get the full membership, you'll also get Thrive Leads and Clever Widgets. Both powerful tools for getting more subscribers into your email list.

As of now, I'm recommending Thrive Themes over Optimize Press 2. Click here for the FULL review of Thrive Themes.

They've recently changed the pricing (increased a bit) but it's still very competitive. For UNLIMITED sites that you personally OWN, you can get all of their plugins for only $228/year. That's $69 less than the UNLIMITED sites option of Optimize Press 2.

Optimize Press 2 VS Wishpond

Wishpond has recently been in my radar after they've reached out to me via Linkedin.

And their pricing option looks very attractive. Even the free version allows you to have 200 leads. Marketing automation and Lead scoring are HUGE.

Other CRM tools and Lead Scoring tools are charging thousands of dollars for these features. Click here if you want to try Wishpond.

Again, we won't be comparing apples to apples with Optimize Press 2 and Wishpond since it's a web-based, SAAS platform.

My Optimize Press 2 Verdict

I have LOVED and USED (still do in some sites) Optimize Press 2 for many years.

And I know a lot of people will still do, but my recommendation now is if you're looking at ALMOST the same PRICE POINT and the same WordPress Plugin/Theme combo, I'll go with Thrive Themes.

Here's my full review of Thrive Themes if you would like to learn more.

Previously with Optimize Press 2, I've used Genesis Themes from Studiopress for Themes and the Optimize Press 2 Plugin because of Search Engine Optimization purposes, but now with Thrive Themes, I'm only using their set of Themes and Plugins.

There will still be a little bit of learning curve when you try Thrive Themes, but it will be easy. In fact, it was easier for me to learn Thrive Themes than Optimize Press 2. (I got this new site done in just a few hours)

But of course, in the end it will be your preference whether to choose Optimize Press 2 or Thrive Themes or if you want a web-based landing page tool like Unbounce, Clickfunnels, Leadpages, etc. Web based tools are best when you're not necessarily using WordPress.

I know that you might still have a question, so please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you for reading my review and please share this article if you've found it helpful. You're awesome!

  • Bob

I only make websites for restaurants. Don’t need membership site, have one with a online directory for Dining Guide. But how helpful is this optimize 2.0 for offline marketing. Or should I use another product?

    • Ryan Cruz

Hi Bob, that is a great question. First OP is a wordpress plugin and theme. So it’s a way for you to create beautiful landing pages and squeeze pages. I see that you’ve created several mobile apps, and you can do that as well with OP2. If you are going to do offline advertising, you need to still tie it with a landing page or squeeze page, and OP2 can help you build those pages quickly. Hope this answers your question.

  • John Cassidy-Rice

I have version 1, please send me the discount to upgrade to version 2 thank you

    • Ryan Cruz

There was no discount released for existing users of OP 1. 🙁 Everyone is still awaiting updates on this one.

  • Wow buggy is not something I need to deal with.

Also I never did get a link to purchase it so I guess that was another bug.

I’ll be interested in reading your update.

More than anything I want something that works with reasonable support for issues
I have in understanding how to use it, not because it is not working as intended.

    • Ryan Cruz

It’s now working great Mary! Check out my update review and training on OP2.

  • Hello Ryan

I see that in optimizepress you can only add a logo wich is 250×50 but i want to have a big header with my picture in it wich a made on my optimizepress 1 site.

what do you reccomend about using a header instead of a small logo? i mean branding is important right?

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Amber,

Yes, I brought this issue to the OP2 team as well, and they might be working an update. What you can do for now is to Add another row then choose the column that would fit your header image and other info on the right side of the columns. Hope this helps.

  • thank you ryan, for your answer,

would you explain what you mean by another row? do you mean a template with a row? wich is that?

    • Ryan Cruz

your welcome Amber. Just go to the Live Editor. Then Add Row. Then Choose column format. Choose a setting that would fit your branding. Then add elements to this column (Image element for your header), text block for text, etc.

  • thanks! thats working. and do you turn your header off? or do you add a same color grey wich mean you have a grey block above your row/image?

    • Ryan Cruz

Glad it helped. Just turn the header off. 🙂

  • If you turn the header of you dont have a navigation bar right? those are together in the options.

  • NICE I just bought it too! very cool

@ Q’s, what plugin you use for the social sharing bar that is sticky on the top right and what plugin is the “Need Help? Choose one below” bar? Looks amazing

    Nice blog !

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hey Willem-Paul,

Thanks for dropping by, the social sidebar is Flare and the sidebar widget is fixed widgets. Then I just created image links for the options.

  • yetty

    Hi Ryan,

How do you give a free report or ebook with optimizepress 2?

How do you embed an optimizepress 2 optin form in the sidebar of a wordpress blog?

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Yetty,

Great questions. Create a separate landing page with Optimize Press 2 for your Download page. But this url will be accessible to anyone unless you make it a members only page using a membership plugin like instamember or the free OP2 membership plugin.

For adding an optin form in the sidebar, just add the shortcode of the optin (HTML code) then add it as text code on the sidebar.

      Hope this helps!

  • Chris

    Hi Ryan,

I’m undecided between Optimize Press (OP) and Profit Theme (PT).

With PT they say I don’t need additional plugins or need to purchase additional third party membership site scripts.

Could you tell me what I need to create a membership area/site with OP, and how much money I have to invest using OP?

I would greatly appreciate your comments regarding PT.

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Chris,

To answer that question you need to understand that Profits Theme is comparable to the old version of Optimize Press (version 1). Comparing PT with OP1, yes PT has the advantage of having membership plugins. But, with OP2 you’ll get a new revamp of the Optimize Press Theme. And there’s a FREE membership plugin included with Optimize Press 2. The membership plugin that comes with OP2 is similar to S2member. If you have used s2member before, it’s almost identical.

All of my membership sites are now being created with OP 2. Check out the upcoming launch of the Premium training on my site: https://www.trafficsalad.org/products/

But I want something more powerful than the OP2 membership plugin. I need something that I can easily integrate with affiliates and other payment systems (JVZOO, Payza, etc) and the solution that I currently use is Insta Member: https://www.trafficsalad.org/wordpress/wordpress-plugins/insta-member-review-killer-membership-software-4109/

Insta Member is optional, so your investment with OP2 is just the license for it. https://www.trafficsalad.org/go/optimizepress

P.S. If you are going to get OP2 via my affiliate link, I’ll throw in the Membership Templates (OP2 version) that I’m currently using on my site.
See the bonus section of this post for more information.

  • Ryan are all of your bonus templates responsive? (mobile friendly). I’m buying today just looking for best bonus.

    • Ryan Cruz

Yes, David they are all made for Optimize Press 2.0 – They are mobile/responsive design. Bonuses sent. Thanks for purchasing it via my affiliate links.

  • Chris

    Hi Ryan, Chris here.

    Thanks for your response.

Ok, I’m almost convinced to buy it, but I would like to know if you are giving the four (now 9) bonus or just one that we have to pick it out?

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Chris,

You’ll get all bonuses. Total 9 Bonuses. 🙂

  • Chris

    Bonuses received. Awesome!

Ryan I’m interested in VOOPlayer. Any video features? Are you using it? How is working for you? Any example?

    • Ryan Cruz

Thanks for the purchase via my affiliate links. OP2 already has a video player, but with Vooplayer, you can prevent “leaks” of traffic to youtube with a banner overlay. I use Vooplayer for my membership sites. Check the Bonus video for an example of a Vooplayer embed.

  • Hello Ryan:
I have two primary websites for my chiropractic practice. One uses Thesis theme (folsomchiropractor.net), the other a Genesis child theme for chiropractors(docbarger.com). I want to work on the Thesis theme site without the headache of learning Thesis. Would you advise me to purchase Genesis and Optimize Press 2 for the folsomchiropractor.net site? Also, can I use OP2 as a plugin with the docbarger.com site?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jim Barger

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Jim,

Personally, it was easier for me to use Genesis Theme + Optimize Press 2. This combination is what I use for almost all of my sites. With a few exception being on woothemes.

      Hope this helps. – Ryan

  • Hi Ryan,

You note that OP2 doesn’t handle Facebook page tabs because of the secure socket layers issue. Is this fixed?

BTW – I don’t think Leadpages does either as I reported it to them as a problem with their own FB page.

I suspect this is something all the page generators will need to take on board.

    • Ryan Cruz

OP2 doesn’t handle Facebook tabs unless you install SSL to your domain. (about $12 per month). Leadpages works as a facebook custom tab for me. You’re just limited to 1 leadpages tab though.

  • Hi Ryan,

    Thanks for the answer.

I’m amazed that Leadpages still have a broken page on their Facebook page even though I reported it at least a month ago.

  • Ale

    Hi Ryan,
I would like to ask you,
I don’t have a website or a wordpress blog created yet. I’ve read you suggest to have install OP2 as a plugin, but can i use it as my main theme while i built my blog-website?… where can i read more about that on your blog?

Another question, I am creating a 3 part video series as a freebie for people to sign in to my website, can i create this kind of pages? A page with the video content and the facebook plugin to leave comments…

    Looking forward to your response,

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Ale,

Yes, you can use Optimize Press 2 as a main theme for your website, but the problem with this is that the blog design layout of OP2 is limited (not to much design capabilities). If you just need a basic blog layout, you can use OP2 without buying another theme.

With regards to the Freebie Video landing page, I have a template that can do that, my Video Sales Letter template (Check the bonuses on this page). Just add the facebook comments plugin and you’re good to go.

If you’ve purchased OP2 via my affiliate links, I will give you access to all the bonuses on this page.

  • Hi Ryan, I notice that you said you were using the Genesis system for OptimizePress. Is there a specific reason?
I am revamping my setup for a few sites and want to follow your lead in several areas. Is there a blog post that explains why you use Genesis, or is OptimizePress good on it’s own?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mark Kessler

    • Ryan Cruz

The Blog system in OP2 is not customized enough for me. With Genesis theme, I can easily change the layout into 2 sidebar columns just like what I currently have now in this site. I will try to elaborate this further in a future blog post.

  • Dave

Hi Ryan, I have been looking through some different landing page services and most have some sort of visitor limitations… like 25,000 max visitors…

Does OptimizePress have any sort of restrictions like this? Or can you simply use a landing page on any domain you want with as much traffic to it as you want? Thanks.

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Dave,

Optimizepress 2 is installed on your wordpress site as a plugin or theme. There are no limitations on the number of visitors, as long as your server can handle the traffic, you can use Optimize Press 2 pages. It’s not like hosted solutions like unbounce where the you page for each visitors on your landing page.

  • riya

    Hi Ryan,

I have a web application that I would like to make available to only paid customers. Would the optimizepress plugin be a good solution for this need? I already have a website with the Genesis framework and if I understand correctly, I can use the Optimize Press plugin with the Genesis theme to create a login area on my site? If that be so, can the login page (the members area) be anywhere on the website and not necessarily on the homepage?

To be clearer what I need to know is if I can use the Optimze Press plugin on my current Genesis website to create a members only section (that’s not on the homepage). The members only area will be able to host a web application, right?

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Riya,

I have a similar setup on this site. I have the Genesis theme as the wordpress theme and the Optimize Press 2 as a plugin. I’m able to create a membership only page in my site because of this, so yes, you will be able to create the membership pages with OP2.

  • Hi Ryan, I’ve been researching OP2 for a while, you’re the first person to mention that the new pages in OP2 are NOT optimized for Facebook tabs, so thank you for being honest about this.

You mentioned that OP2 can be optimized but at a monthly cost. do you know what that amount is? and do you still prefer to use http://www.landingpages.com over this extra paid service from OP2?

    Thanks Paul

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Paul,

OP2 is a one time payment, the monthly cost would be if you joined their club membership. It’s low cost right now, but you can create your own templates with OP2. Getting the club membership (more templates) is about $20 per month. If you have any other questions, just let me know. Hope this helps.

  • John

I’m about to start building a website and would like to use OP2 with that site. I’m debating about whether to use it as a theme or do it as a plugin with a different theme. I saw that you implied that Genesis framework may get better SEO and that may be the motivation for you to use it instead of the OP2 theme. However, it appears that you wrote this some time ago and that it has also been a while since you’ve gotten comments. I’m wondering if you were to be starting from scratch like I am, wanting to create a website for health services, both in-person and online classes and courses, what you would do with regards to the theme vs. plugin question. Thanks!

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hey John,

Thanks for leaving a comment. I’m still using that combination. Optimize Press 2 Plugin then a different theme. For this site, traffic salad, I just recently used a one pager theme and so far I’m loving it. But for my niche sites, I’m still using a Genesis theme (Dynamik Child theme) and Optimize Press 2 combo. So yes, I would still go with this route. 🙂

  • Hello Ryan , I would like to get Op ..But i have a question , can I ad some members as users in my WordPress with the op ..like authors, then they can post about what ever they want

    • Ryan Cruz

I’m not sure what you meant. OP2 has a membership plugin if this is what you mean. Hope this helps!

  • Erika

I am builiding a site with Avada theme. I just need to use the plug in for the landing page. Is OP2 compatible with the Avada theme?

    • Ryan Cruz

      Hi Erika,

Yes the OP2 plugin is compatible with more Premium WordPress themes. Install the OP2 plugin along with your Avada theme in WordPress.

  • Ivan

    Hi Ryan,

This was an informative article. I’m wondering if you have your review for Leadpages up? (why you use leadpages and don’t use leadpages) I am just getting started with creating landing pages, and I’m trying to decide to go with either OP2 or Leadpages. I know it’s better to get both, but is that truly necessary? Is it just an issue of ease to use?

How does the Leadpages Analytics, 404 page, and actual conversion rates compare with the ones on OP2? If they are truly similar (just a difference between ease of use), then I’ll probably opt out of paying an additional $500 a year for Leadpages. I’ll be really nice if you can reply. Thanks!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. (I replied separately via email as well).

Good question, I do use Leadpages, but not specifically in TrafficSalad(yet this will change with the NEW leadpages template uploader in Jan 2015), I use OP2 more in this site for membership pages (private pages), but I’m using it in my other niches 🙂

With regards to conversion rates, it depends on many factors like traffic, offer, trust factor etc.

But the biggest reason I would choose LP over OP2 for beginners is it’s analytics and quick, easy use.

The annual subscription can help save you in the long run and can also lock you in early adopter programs. In fact, their early adoption program is ending tonight

In the end, if you don’t know where to get traffic and don’t have a good offer you will NOT benefit from any landing page software like LP or OP2.

Unfortunately, these softwares don’t cover how to drive traffic and how to create good offers. I do have bonuses for Leadpages buyers via my affiliate link that can help address some of these issues.

  • Hi Ryan:

I sent you another email from a different link you have on your site here. My concern is the FREE OM member feature, being that I presently have OP 1.x on my server now, it doesn’t seem to work well with the login/logout functions – either because I am uncertain how to do this… in truce of being honest.

Being the reason why that I am looking at OP 2.0 – this should help me right, to create a member site and have the log in and registration and log out work without any headaches, right?

I like the bonuses you are offering and asked some questions on a few of them, and reading from a post above it… knowing it’s mobile friendly helps tremendously with my efforts to resolve my troubles with my present site(s).

So, hopefully you can answer those questions for me before I jump onboard and buy?

      Hi Dave,

Thanks for your email and for leaving a comment. I’ve emailed you about your bonuses questions. With Regards to creating membership sites with Optimize Press 2, there’s some technical setup and depending on your knowledge, it may or maybe difficult to setup. If you need to see what the OP2 Member plugin looks like, browse S2Member PRO since it’s very similar to the OP2 Members plugin. I’m using Instamember for my site as a membership platform, but I’m using Optimize Press 2 to create the membership pages.

If you are looking to get started quickly without the technical hassle, consider hiring someone to setup your membership site for you. Hope this helps and answered some of your questions.

  • Hi ryan,

Firstly how can I get on your list and secondly, how long will the $97 deal on Optimize Press 2.0 last?

  • Kayol Hope

    Hi Ryan,

I’m thinking of revamping my website and looking through your review for OPTIMIZE PRESS 2.0 and wondering if your bonuses are still available if I purchase through you since the last comments are from 2014?

    Kind Regards,
    Kayol Hope

Wow thanks for the in depth article. Answered a few of my own questions that I’ve been on the fence about.
