How to Build Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)

Who needs a landing page software this tool?

Most people use website, landing pages, sales funnels interchangeability.

Though they might look the same, they have different functions. Websites are the online brochure of your business, while landing pages usually have one particular goal, whether it’s to generate traffic, leads or sales.

Do you sell products and services online? If yes, you need a sales page.

Do you generate leads from website visitors? If yes, you need an optin page.

Do promote other people’s products like in affiliate marketing? If yes, you need a bridge or presell page.

Almost any type of online business needs a landing page.

And there are tons of landing page and sales funnel software available to choose from, but why should you even consider using Swipe Pages?

I’ve tested and used a bunch of them, but Swipe Pages is unique from other landing page builders because it has support for creating AMP (Accelerated Mobile pages) quickly and easily with no need for writing code or learning technical stuff.

What is AMP?

AMP also known as Accelerated Mobile Pages, is an open-source HTML framework that provides a fast, smooth-loading mobile pages that will help improve the overall user-experience. There are tons of benefits of using AMP including improving user experience, speed improvements, loads nearly instant, and has tons of SEO benefits (more free traffic).

But the problem with AMP is that it’s not a 1-click approach. Because it’s open-source, you might need to find suitable ways of implementing it on your existing website.

But what if there’s a way to create AMP for your content that looks really awesome and gorgeous without the need for coding or any technical skill?

That’s where Swipe Pages comes in.

I’ve used a lot of landing page builders and software, including Enterprise-level software, but I’ve never seen a tool that utilizes AMP as easy and quickly as Swipe Pages.

This makes it possible for anyone, even if you don’t have technical skills to implement AMP pages for your website content.

Conversion rate is super important because you can drive all the traffic that you want, but if your website has a very low conversion rate, only a small portion of people would convert or take the action that you want (whether it’s to subscribe to your email list of buy your product).

CRO or conversion rate optimization is the name of the game in improving your conversion rates.

And there are many CRO tools out there, including A/B split testing tools, tracking software, landing page software and sales funnel software.

Drag and Drop landing page builder

Even if you’re not a designer, you can still create gorgeous landing pages with Swipe Pages because all you need to do is model a landing page design that you like.

With the powerful, yet easy drag-and-drop landing page builder, you can quickly edit sections, rows, columns and elements.

If you’ve used other landing page platforms before, there is a slight difference on how you use Swipe Pages. But the basic parts like rows, sections, columns, and elements are there.

It is very user friendly and intuitive. After playing for it for a few minutes, I’ve understood how the Swipe Pages interface works.

Multi-layer image editing

One of the features that I love about Swipe Pages is that it has multi-layer image editing capabilities which helps you overlay different images on top of one another. You can’t even do this on other sales funnel and landing page tools like Kartra or Clickfunnels without creating this multi-layer image on Photoshop or other graphic software.

Capture leads and send to your CRM

What good is a landing page software if you can’t capture leads (email subscribers) and send them to your email marketing software or CRM.

With Swipe pages, you can easily do that by using the Form Element in your landing page, or by creating a Popup with your form. You then connect this form into your email marketing or CRM software of your choice.

Sell your own products with Stripe integration

Do you want to accept payments and sell your products or services on your landing pages? There’s no need for a separate shopping cart platform like ThriveCart or Samcart because if you have Swipe Pages, you can now accept payments with it’s built-in Stripe Integration.

Of course there are limitations for this integration. If you want to send your new customer to your membership platform when they purchase, you’ll want to use Zapier to do that as there is no built-in integration with membership websites for now.

Optimize with A/B split testing

If you’re landing pages are getting a decent amount of traffic (about 100+ visits), it’s a great idea to start A/B split testing. A/B split-testing will provide you with incremental benefits to your conversion rates.

These incremental improvements to your conversion rates might look small, but when they accumulate and compound in the future, the effects that they can have on your bottom line can be significant.

Built-in analytics available inside your account

Here’s an added feature that I really love about Swipe Pages. You can easily check out how your landing pages are performing with it’s built-in analytics.

Optimized for all devices

Most users are now browsing the web on their mobile and tablet devices, hence why the search engines are even optimizing for a mobile first experience.

This is where Swipe Pages excels. Landing pages created with Swipe Pages are optimized for all devices (desktop, tablets, and mobile devices) which means that they look gorgeous on any device that you use.

AMP optimized landing pages

AMP or Accelerated Mobile Pages is a great way to create pages that Google love. Google has preference to rank these types of pages higher in the search engines because it is being cached in Google’s server.

That means that these pages loads almost instantly, and that they have a lightning icon on the search results, indicating that it’s an AMP page.

Dynamic text replacement

What is dynamic text replacement? It is a landing page feature that allows you to change the text of any content on your landing page dynamically.

You are able to do this by adding URL parameters that dictate what should change in the text.

Here’s an example on how you can use Dynamic text replacement. Let’s say you want to change the text of your landing page based on their geographic location.

You create dynamic text replacement on any content that you want to change to match the geo-location you specify. This is super useful when running local PPC (pay per click) campaigns on Google Ads or Bing Ads because they will help you get better quality scores and relevance.

Dynamic text replacement is a feature that is mostly available on Enterprise-type landing page software like Unbounce. And because it’s an Enterprise feature, you’ll pay premium for it.

But not with Swipe Pages. With Swipe Pages, you can easily create dynamic text replacement and add more relevance to your landing pages.

Can power your entire website

You can set Swipe Pages to be installed on the www of your main website and thus create your entire website with Swipe Pages.

This is great if you have a few pages on your website (like a one-product website) and would like to get a site up and running quickly without the need to buy separate web hosting, install WordPress, themes and plugins and do all the other stuff that is required when launching a website with WordPress.

Direct integration with several software and platforms

While there is Zapier for integration with over 1,000+ platforms, it’s nice to have direct integration with Stripe, Sendfox and other 3rd party tools that are commonly used.

This helps make it easier to launch landing pages and campaigns without API or coding.

What I didn't like about Swipe pages (cons)

No software is perfect, and I’d like to share some insights on the stuff that I wish they’d improve upon.

Lack of design templates

They do have a bunch of template designs, but they do look repetitive and I wished they had more template designs across various industries and verticals so that I wouldn’t need to recreate everything from scratch.

Pricing and Packages
